AEM shares hit record after stellar H1 results

SHARES in AEM Holdings hit a record high on Tuesday, after the semiconductor play on Monday reported a 147.9 per cent increase in its first-half net profit to S$55.3 million.
The counter hit an intra-day high of S$4.23, before easing to S$4.19 by the closing bell, advancing S$0.53 or 14.5 per cent on a cum-dividend basis. This is the highest the stock has been since its listing back in December 2000. Some 25.1 million shares changed hands, making it one of the most heavily traded counters on the Singapore bourse for the day.
