LONG-haul budget carrier AirAsia X is planning a rights issue as it struggles with cash-flow issues, reports said, while some of its senior management could be on the way out.
According to a Reuters report, Malaysia-based AirAsia X could announce a rights issue as early as this Friday, although it is also exploring other funding options. This comes after it was reported in November last year that the budget carrier was having trouble meeting wage payments for staff salaries and allowances.
