Alpina Holdings secures S$216.9m worth of contracts for Q1; majority are public sector projects

INTEGRATED solutions provider Alpina Holdings secured S$216.9 million worth of contracts in the six months ended Jun 30, of which the majority are public sector projects, the Catalist-listed company said in a bourse filing on Monday (Jul 3).
Among these are two contracts worth S$117.2 million to undertake the design, installation, construction, testing and commission of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for engineering design consultancy Novasix. These are expected to be completed by December next year.
There are also seven term contracts worth about S$93.4 million for the provision of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance and other works for a government ministry, a construction company, a town council and two statutory boards.
A term contract worth S$5.7 million involves the provision of managing agent services and improvement works for a stat board, as well as two term contracts worth S$500,000 for the licensing of electrical installation for two town councils.
Another term contract worth S$100,000 is for the servicing and maintenance of a fire protection system for a town council.
Apart from the solar PV contracts, the other projects are slated for completion from 2025 to 2027.

Alpina said the aggregate provisional contract sum of about S$216.9 million is indicative, and may not be an accurate indicator of the the group’s actual revenue.
Alpina shares closed flat at S$0.19 on Monday ahead of the announcement.
