Analysts positive about a Tigerair Mandala sale

THE prospect of Tiger Airways cutting its losses in Indonesia by selling or closing its Indonesian carrier Tigerair Mandala has been well-received by analysts.
Reuters reported earlier this week that Tiger Airways will act if Mandala fails to turn around this year.
However, in response to queries from BT yesterday, the budget carrier stressed that Indonesia is still a key market for the group.
