Analysts sound positive note on Singtel, with 5G and travel expected to boost ARPU
They think company is in good position to see profit improvements for rest of financial year

ANALYSTS remained positive on Singtel as the telco looks set to see a boost to its average revenue per user (ARPU) on the back of 5G take-up and the gradual lifting of travel curbs.
The analysts' reports on Thursday and Friday come after the company posted a net profit of S$445 million in a business update for the first quarter ended June 30, reversing a loss of S$20 million a year ago.
