Armarda unit teams up with Thuraya

ARMARDA Group's indirect unit, China Mobile Satellite Communications Group (CMSCG), has tied up with Thuraya Telecommunications Company to develop new products for Thuraya mobile satellite service users in China.

The Catalist-listed group said yesterday that CMSCG (fully owned by Armarda's 45 per cent-owned China Satellite Mobile Communications Group) will work with Thuraya on new mobile satellite communication products for these users.

The project will be funded by Armarda and CMSCG and its potential partners in China, and aims to improve functionalities and features of current mobile satellite communication devices.
