ASCENDAS Hospitality Trust (A-HTrust) on Thursday posted a 2.9 per cent rise in distribution per stapled security (DPS) to 1.77 Singapore cents for the fourth quarter ended March 31. This was driven by full quarter contributions from the hotels in Korea and Japan acquired during the year.
Q4 DPS was further lifted by lower net finance costs and a partial distribution of the proceeds from the trust's divestment of the two hotels in Beijing, China, in May 2018.
