Asian institutions' risk appetite for equities up in Dec: State Street

INSTITUTIONAL investors in Asia had a bigger appetite for equities in December than in the previous month, contributing to a lift in overall investor confidence levels worldwide, according to the latest movements of an index that tracks institutions' percentage allocation to equities.
The global State Street Investor Confidence Index edged up a point to a reading of 108.3 in December from a revised 107.3 in November, asset manager State Street Global Exchange said in a press release on Wednesday.
