Asian shares end week lower on rising Treasury yields, tech rout

THE twin troubles of rising US Treasury yields and a troubling report about China infiltrating US companies with a microchip roiled Asian stocks on Friday, sending swathes of the region into the red at the close of trading.
US Treasury yields have hit a seven-year high and continued upwards, lifted by robust US economic data and hawkish comments from the Federal Reserve.
