SHARES of mainboard-listed Asti Holdings were hotly traded on Wednesday with 125.17 million shares changing hands, following news that a Chinese company is in advanced talks with Asti to acquire its wholly owned subsidiary STI Group.
The share price of the technology group opened at S$0.09 and quickly hit an intraday and record high of S$0.104 within 15 minutes. It closed unchanged from its opening price - a 12.5 per cent rise from the previous day's closing price of S$0.08.
