ASX-listed Stanfield in deal to acquire startup Sprooki

AUSTRALIA-listed Stanfield Funds Management has struck a deal to acquire Singapore-based Sprooki, the startup that provides malls and retailers with a location-based mobile engagement platform to win more customers .
Essentially, Sprooki's marketing software helps malls and retailers pull in shoppers when they are in the vicinity. This is by way of alerting the shoppers - through their smartphones - of available promotions.
