AusGroup wins contracts worth A$100m
SERVICES provider AusGroup on Wednesday said its recent contract awards and extensions for its clients within the energy and industrial sectors now amount to about A$100 million (S$101.8 million) altogether.
AusGroup unit MAS Australasia (MAS), a scaffolding firm, received a further contract extension with CB&I Kentz Joint Venture for a further six months to June 30, 2016.
In addition, AusGroup unit AGC has been awarded a number of general and campaign maintenance contracts under its existing multi-discipline services agreement with Woodside Energy, including for work associated with the Karratha Life Extension Program. These contracts will end on or before March 31, 2016.
Following the signing of a Brownfield Maintenance Services contract with Chevron Australia, AGC has also started mobilising maintenance personnel to provide support services for Chevron's Western Australian-based natural gas assets. These mobilisations should continue over 2016.
Finally, AGC has also won a three-year refractory contract with OneSteel for site-wide management, planning and execution, preventative and reactive maintenance services. The work will be delivered at the steel manufacturer's Whyalla site.
