FOREIGN exchange translation gains and robust contributions from its operating companies have spurred Malaysia's Axiata Group to register a revenue high of nearly RM20 billion (S$6.7 billion) for the fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2015.
With growth at home flat and the ringgit sharply devalued against most currencies, the mobile telecommunications company benefited from forex gains and growth in its operating companies to register a profit attributable to ordinary equity holders of RM2.55 billion, up from RM2.4 billion in 2014.
