Azeus Systems bags HK$11.1m contract to develop Hong Kong Police's IT system
INFORMATION technology solutions and products provider Azeus Systems Holdings BBW : BBW 0% has secured a HK$11.1 million (S$1.9 million) contract from the Hong Kong Police Force to design and develop the force's new staff integrity checking system.
The design and development proccess will take place over a 16-month period. Azeus will also be responsible for the system's maintenance for the five years following its implementation.
The development of the new system will help to streamline the Hong Kong Police Force's vetting process, said Azeus in a press statement on Monday (Jan 10).
The design and implementation works begin this month. The group therefore expects to see the majority of the project's revenue contribution from the next financial year until FY2028.
Lee Wan Lik, managing director of Azeus, said: "With Azeus' IT services long track record of delivering high-quality public service projects, we are honoured to partner with the Hong Kong Police Force to streamline their vetting process and increase its efficiency. This will further enhance our recurring income stream for resilient growth."
Shares of the company last traded on Jan 4 at S$8.
