UNITED Overseas Bank (UOB)‘s head of foreign exchange, Yousoof Mohamed, will be leaving to lead a new team at Maybank after just over one-and-a-half years at UOB, The Business Times has learnt.
Before his stint at UOB, Yousoof spent nearly 27 years at ANZ and helmed multiple roles. He was the director of principal FX at the Australian bank before he left.
Two other traders from UOB – Harry Lo and Lim Siow Wei – are also leaving to join Maybank. (*See amendment note.)
