ASSET managers around the world are hoping that their investment strategies will go some way to counter the combination of high inflation and an ongoing economic slowdown.
At a virtual conference on Wednesday (Nov 17) to announce its investment outlook for 2022, Amundi's group chief investment officer Pascal Blanque said a new financial regime has started, characterised by 1970s-style stagflationary features.
