BANK of America is satisfied with its staffing levels amid concern about job cuts across the banking industry, the company’s chief executive officer said on Monday in an interview with Fox News.
“We’re fine with our headcount,” Brian Moynihan said in the interview. “I’m confident if we need to manage headcount when people leave us to go to other employers, we just won’t fill all the jobs, but we’re in good shape.”
Separately, Goldman Sachs Group will cut jobs as early as this month after pausing the annual practice for two years during the pandemic, according to a source familiar with the plans. The New York Times earlier reported on the upcoming layoffs. REUTERS
