BLACKROCK Inc is bringing in a former senior Obama administration official to run fast-growing sustainable investment strategies at the world's biggest asset manager.
Brian Deese, 39, who led environmental initiatives for the Obama White House and was deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget, was set to join BlackRock on Tuesday as head of sustainable investing, according to a staff memo obtained by Bloomberg.
