SINCE taking on the role of chief digital officer for Asean at HSBC, Shayan Hazir finds himself spending a lot of time collaborating with key stakeholders in the region.
Hazir, who was appointed to the newly created role in August 2022, said his role requires connecting various aspects of the bank in a cohesive way.
“I’m not trying to re-engineer the bank from what it already does, but rather represent us in a way that can showcase the efforts that the bank has made (in terms of digital adoption),” he said.
