China issues guidelines to improve banks' risk management

[BEIJING] China's bank regulator published new draft guidelines on Wednesday which will require banking institutions to set up comprehensive risk management systems to improve their ability to identify, quantify, evaluate, monitor and control all kinds of risks.
The draft document, which was released on the China Banking Regulatory Commission's official website, is seeking comments from the public until Aug 6.
