CITIBANK Singapore's head of retail banking Charles Wong has resigned after more than 20 years at the US bank.
The bank confirmed Mr Wong's departure from Citi in response to queries by The Business Times. Mr Wong spent nearly five years in his last role as head of retail banking at Citibank Singapore.
In a staff announcement on Monday seen by The Business Times, Citibank Singapore's chief executive Brendan Carney credited Mr Wong for bringing about a strong turnaround of the business, leading the unit to deliver "consistent double-digit growth".
