Singapore
CREDIT Suisse expects its Asia-Pacific market to at least maintain about a quarter of profit contribution to the bank's overall income - not just because this part of the world is brimming with emerging wealth, but also because operations here knock out more capital-efficient returns.
Helman Sitohang, chief executive officer of Credit Suisse in the Asia-Pacific said in an interview that, to grow its Asia-Pacific business, the bank will target the clear opportunities from the entrepreneurs rising out of this region.
