THE pursuit of big data has become almost a religious rite at DBS with the ultimate goal being to lift the bank's competitive edge by using data to model and predict human behaviour.
Big data helps banks and corporations go beyond fixing problems that have already begun; today, hindsight is just not good enough and the aim of big data is to deter and prevent problems right from the start.
