Deutsche Bank beats forecasts as Q3 profit more than doubles

[FRANKFURT] Germany's biggest lender Deutsche Bank reported a third-quarter net profit more than double 2016's figure on Thursday, as it continues to battle through restructuring and Europe-wide headwinds.
The bank booked net profits attributable to shareholders of 647 million euros (S$1 billion) between July and September, 153 per cent higher than the same period last year.
