EASTSPRING Investments' Ooi Boon Peng, who oversees US$29 billion as chief investment officer (CIO) of fixed income at the Prudential asset management arm, readily admits he cannot predict the future.
But espousing a view shared by a number of fund managers, he said that despite Asia's problems, at least the big three Asian giants - China, India and Indonesia - have reform-minded leaders who are aware of the issues involved.
