Eurozone bond yields rise on hopes of US-China truce

GERMAN government bond yields rose from all-time lows on Thursday on mounting optimism for a resolution of the US-China trade war, prompting investors to sell safe-haven assets.
German bond yields tracked the move higher in US Treasuries but any major rise in yields is likely to be tempered by underlying expectations of continued monetary easing in the bloc.
