Fidelity International appoints new head of South-east Asia and Singapore
INVESTMENT management group Fidelity International announced on Tuesday (Nov 1) that it has appointed Sabrina Gan as its new head of South-east Asia and country head of Singapore.
Gan, whose appointment is subject to regulatory approval, will be responsible for delivering growth across client channels for Fidelity’s business in South-east Asia and strengthening the firm’s commitment in the region.
She has been with the company for over seven years and previously helmed senior distribution roles at BlackRock and Schroders. Gan is also a chartered financial analyst and chartered alternative investment analyst.
Lawrence Hanson, her predecessor, will be moving to lead Fidelity’s Australia business as managing director.
“With her extensive experience serving clients across the region, Sabrina is ideally placed to lead our South-east Asia business into the next phase of its growth and bring the best of Fidelity to our clients,” said Rajeev Mittal, managing director of Asia-Pacific ex-Japan, Fidelity.
