CHINESE companies investing overseas need to be careful and invest rationally, the head of China's foreign-exchange regulator was quoted as saying by the official Shanghai Securities News on Monday.
"Overseas mergers and acquisitions can sometimes resemble a rose with thorns, you must be careful and you must do your due diligence," said Pan Gongsheng, the head of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange who is also a vice-governor of the central bank, was quoted as saying by the paper.
