Private banks catering to clients with special requirements
New York
CREDIT Suisse Private Banking has created a division within the firm, called New Markets, dedicated to serving groups of people who would seem to have little in common beyond being wealthy enough to be of interest to a wealth management firm.
"We each want to be approached as an individual," said Pamela Thomas-Graham, head of the division at Credit Suisse and herself an African-American. But she added: "We know that there are certain segments that have some special needs."
