Stable ratings continue for Asia-Pac structured finance tranches in Q4 2014: Fitch

FITCH Ratings says 222 Asia-Pacific structured finance tranches were affirmed in the fourth quarter of last year, one of which was affirmed twice.
Two Australian tranches were upgraded, while no downgrades occurred during the quarter.
"Steady economic performance in India, Korea and Singapore contributed to affirmations in these countries," said Fitch in a media statement.
It added that most long-term ratings in Asia-Pacific have stable outlooks. The exceptions include negative outlooks on four Indian auto loan tranches and seven positive outlooks in Australia (five) and Japan (two).
