Stanchart recruits Singapore-based global head of banking

    STANDARD Chartered Bank has appointed HSBC veteran Paul Skelton as its global head of banking, a Singapore-based, newly created role.

    Mr Skelton will be responsible for the group's large corporate and financial institution client relationships.

    He was most recently HSBC's regional head of commercial banking for their Asia-Pacific business.

    He will report to one of his former bosses at HSBC, Simon Cooper, who is now Stanchart's CEO of corporate and institutional banking.
