STANDARD Chartered Bank on Friday announced the purchase of a second office building in Changi Business Park for S$45 million, amid a ramping up of its investments in Singapore to raise efficiency.
Including the S$59.5 million cost of the first building also in Changi Business Park which the bank bought in 2010, the bank has now spent a total of S$104.5 million to consolidate its properties; it has gone from having eight locations to just two - in Marina Bay Financial Centre and in Changi Business Park.
