Standard Chartered Singapore not planning branch closures

The bank considers Singapore a high-growth city and its presence here is strategic

    EVEN as the United Kingdom-based Standard Chartered Bank plans to close up to 100 branches or 8 per cent of its global network to improve its profits, it has no plans to close any of its Singapore branches.

    A source told The Business Times that the bank currently had no plans to reduce the number of branches in the Republic.
