TOP TAX lawyer Ong Sim Ho will rejoin Drew & Napier's tax and private client services team as an equity partner from April 1, 2019, giving the law firm a lift as it rides on Singapore's enhanced tax position as a global wealth and investment hub.
With the move, Mr Ong will be shutting down his eponymous tax law practice that he set up in 2014, transferring its case portfolio to Drew & Napier and bringing over his team of four tax lawyers. This will take the strength of the law firm's tax and private services group to 11 altogether.
