UOB launches contactless payment on its mobile app

UNITED Overseas Bank (UOB) has promised to leapfrog the competition in the mobile banking space, with its latest offering aimed at taking contactless payment to a different level.
It officially launched its mobile application, known as UOB Mighty, on Tuesday that allows users of Android smartphones to pay for their purchases by tapping their phones - a first for a Singapore bank.
