UOB has been biding its time for its digital revamp - waiting for the scene to mature and become less expensive while its two competitors at home blaze ahead.
That time seems to be now - with a relaunch of its online and mobile banking services set in July - as UOB now sees ripe opportunities to compete in the mobile space, as contactless payment in travel and lifestyle spending builds in momentum.
