Bankruptcy proceedings started against former exec chairman: S'pore eDevelopment
BANKRUPTCY proceedings after an unpaid court judgement debt have been started against Liew Sen Keong, Singapore eDevelopment said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday.
It said Mr Liew was "unable to satisfy or compound" the amount it was claiming from him and "accordingly" the Singapore High Court has made a bankruptcy order over Mr Liew on Oct 18.
Mr Liew was the former executive chairman and group chief executive officer of Singapore eDevelopment, which used to be called CCM Group.
This was related to a lawsuit between the group and Mr Liew. It had said in a November 2015 filing that the court had awarded it a sum of S$593,250 plus the costs of an appeal that Mr Liew had made against the court's decision.
