AS the three Singapore banks report their fourth quarter results this week, analysts will watch for any hits in asset quality, as well as guidance for loan growth ahead.
This comes as short-term money market rates - reflected in the swap offer rate and the Singapore Interbank Offered Rate - have spiked in recent weeks, with DBS Group Holdings expected to gain the most from the lift because of the bank's largest Singapore-dollar deposit base.
