Singapore
VOLATILE, pandemic-hit markets present buying opportunities for investors with the stomach for some risk. The MSCI AC Asia ex-Japan index has yielded negative returns of 14.5 per cent in the year to May 5, assuming dividends were reinvested. China has performed best on news that it has been able to get the novel coronavirus under control, while Indonesia and India have been the hardest hit.
