CONSTRUCTION company BBR Holdings has secured a S$57.6 million contract for the modular system for four blocks of housing along Upper Aljunied Road.
The company detailed this in a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday evening after trading ended.
BBR, through its wholly owned subsidiary company, Moderna Homes, will be in charge of the design, fabrication, delivery and installation of the pre-fabricated, pre-finished volumetric construction of these blocks.
The project is expected to take 18 months to complete. BBR has started on the design phase.
"There is no material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2016," BBR said in the filing.
None of the company's directors or substantial shareholders has any interest, direct or indirect in the contract, other than through their shareholding interests in the company, BBR added.
