Bid for Super Group fair and reasonable: IFA
Factors cited by independent adviser include the significant premium of the offer price
Singapore
INDEPENDENT financial adviser (IFA) SAC Capital has advised Super Group's independent directors that the offer by Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) to take the instant food and beverage maker private is "fair and reasonable".
They've advised the independent directors to recommend shareholders to accept the offer, unless shareholders can obtain a higher price higher in the open market, taking into account related expenses such as brokerage and trading costs. The independent directors concurred with the advice.
