Bison charging ahead through JVs with 2 Japanese companies
It plans to add 70 outlets per year to its more than 360 convenience stores

BISON Consolidated has entered into joint ventures with two Japanese companies to produce ready-to-eat food and bakery products to be sold at its more than 360 convenience stores in a move to meet rising market demand for quality convenience offerings and to further boost customer loyalty.
On Thursday, the home-grown convenience store operator which operates MyNEWS.com announced that it would tie up with two Japanese partners in separate joint ventures in which it would take a controlling 51 per cent stake in each, and invest a total of RM35.7 million (S$11.5 million).
