AMERICA'S privately owned Black & Veatch (B&V) is among the exceptional multi-disciplinary EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contracting groups to have set up its regional hub for oil and gas (O&G) business in Singapore amid this multi-year sectoral downturn.
Though better known for executing water treatment projects here, B&V is looking next to extend its O&G footprint in Asia, riding on the momentum gained from its first floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) conversion project at Singapore-based Keppel Offshore & Marine, Cheong Hoe-Wai, O&G president at B&V, told The Business Times.
