CATALIST-LISTED coal company BlackGold Natural Resources has called an Indonesian bribery scandal "extraneous to the group", but share prices still took a tumble on Monday.

Allegations of corruption over a power plant project in Riau are "extraneous" to BlackGold, the board said ahead of the market open, because "the directors and management were not, and are not involved whatsoever, in the transaction mentioned".
