BOC Aviation boasts 'truly global' portfolio: CEO

AIRCRAFT leasing firm BOC Aviation, which is seeking a US$1.1 billion listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, expects that its diversified portfolio will help ride out any turbulence in individual markets.
In recent years, new airlines in the South-east Asian market as well as exuberant expansion by regional carriers have contributed to overcapacity, which is putting pressure on yields and has prompted some carriers to defer deliveries.
"Our portfolio is truly global," chief executive Robert Martin told The Business Times in a phone interview, listing a client base which includes Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Qantas and Southwest.…
