SOUTH-EAST Asia will require 3,860 new planes worth US$565 billion over the next two decades, predominantly in the single-aisle category, according to US planemaker Boeing.
Over 75 per cent of deliveries will be for single-aisle aircraft, such as Boeing's 737 MAX and Airbus's A320 family, thanks to the proliferation of low-cost carriers and robust traffic growth.
