THE Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) has given the green light to a proposed joint venture between aircraft-maker Boeing Company and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) to provide a range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in Asia.
The competition watchdog said in a statement that the proposed joint venture would not substantially lessen competition in any market in Singapore.
Boeing will have a 51 per cent stake in the joint venture and Singapore Airlines unit SIAEC, the remaining 49 per cent.
