Boustead Projects bags Tuas redevelopment project
ENGINEERING and construction group Boustead Projects has won a design-and-build contract to redevelop an industrial property in Tuas, it said in a Singapore Exchange filing Thursday morning.
It did not disclose the contract amount in its statement but said the latest contract expands the Boustead Projects group's order book backlog to S$258 million.
It said it expected the construction of the "three-storey industrial facility redevelopment" to begin "shortly" and be completed by Q3 of calendar year 2017.
Boustead Projects said the contract was the second one it had won from industrial landlord AIMS AMP Capital Industrial Reit (AA Reit).
It did not specify the address, but its announcement came right after AA Reit said in a bourse filing that it planned to redevelop a property at 8 and 10 Tuas Avenue 20.
Boustead Projects said it previously completed a redevelopment design-and-build project for AA Reit that turned a Defu Lane site into a six-storey industrial facility in mid-2014.
