BRC Asia says certain shareholders received unsolicited offer for firm's shares
CERTAIN substantial shareholders of steel mesh manufacturer BRC Asia Limited have received unsolicited offers that might or might not lead to an acquisition of the company's shares.
In an exchange filing on Tuesday evening, the group said that these shareholders have notified the company.
"The discussions are preliminary in nature and there is no certainty that these discussions will result in any transaction," it said, adding that it will make appropriate announcements when there are material developments on the matter.
