BreadTalk Q2 earnings up 10% at S$2.89m

FOOD and beverage company BreadTalk Group posted a 10 per cent rise in second-quarter earnings to S$2.89 million as revenue for the April-June quarer climbed 10.7 per cent to S$154.89 million.
The Q2 results raised six-month net profit to S$4.89 million, up 10.4 per cent, with revenue up 9.6 per cent at S$307.34 million, driven by broad-based improvements across all segments, said BreadTalk. Earnings per share for Q2 were 1.02 Singapore cents, up from 0.93 cent.
